The library meeting room is equipped, through generous donations, with a digital HD projector and a 144" screen that is used for movie and gaming programs throughout the year. The gaming nights feature the Nintendo Wii and the Xbox 360. Check back often for special events.
Join us every Friday night as the library meeting room transforms into a rock concert! Children of ALL ages are welcome to pickup a guitar, microphone or sit down at the drum set and rock out to many popular songs featured in the game Rock Band. These weekly gaming sessions run from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
The library shows movies twice a day every Tuesday during the summer. This year's movie program will run from June 22 - August 24. G-rated movies are shown at 11:30 a.m. and PG-rated movies are shown at 6:45 p.m. This program is free of charge and is open to anyone. Feel free to bring your own chairs, popcorn and beverages. The movie schedule will be given out at the first showing of the summer.
The library shows classic Halloween movies during the month of October. This year's showings will be October 12, 19 and 26 (Tuesdays) at 7:00 p.m. This program is free of charge and is open to anyone. Movie schedule with ratings will be availabe in October.
