Your Haddon Heights Library card opens the door to a world of information and entertainment. It’s still one of the best values around. Use your card to check out a wide variety of materials and to access the Internet from library computers. With your library card number, you can also access the library’s powerful subscription databases from your home, office or school computer.
3 days – DVDs and videocassettes
7 days – periodicals
14 days – new books
21 days – older books, interlibrary loan materials, audio books
Most materials may be renewed providing the account is in good standing and the material is not reserved for another patron. You may renew in person, over the phone (856-547-7132) or online.
The Haddon Heights Library has an outside bookdrop located directly in front of the building on Station Avenue. Please do not use this bookdrop to return audio books, DVDs or videocassettes. Doing so will likely damage the item.
Patrons with a valid library card may place items on hold that are currently checked out or on order. There is no fee for this service and borrowers are notified by phone when items are ready for pickup.
Overdue fines are assessed if items are not returned or renewed by the due date. Be sure to check the due dates for items you have on loan. Due dates are listed on the receipt handed to you at check out or you can view your account online.
Overdue fines apply to each day materials are late. $0.50 is charged each day a DVD or videocassette is late, with a maximum fine of $5.00 All other materials are $0.10 per day with a maximum of $3.00.
Lost or Damaged Items
It is your responsibility to maintain the condition of all borrowed materials. When an item is lost or damaged beyond repair, you will be asked to pay the replacement cost of the item. Interlibrary loan replacement or damage charges may vary depending on the lending library’s policy.
