Volunteer

Volunteering offers residents the opportunity to utilize current skills, develop new skills, acquire leadership abilities, meet their neighbors and give back to their community. Working under the supervision of library staff, volunteers provide valuable support and assistance. Volunteer opportunities may include shelving or covering books and media, providing homework help or providing computer instruction.

Becoming a Volunteer

Becoming a volunteer is easy. Just stop by the library or call us and ask for Christopher Walter. There is a brief interview so we can match your schedule, qualifications, interests and skills to available opportunities.

So whether you have a few hours a week or a few days a year, the library can always use your help. We depend on volunteers year round to help the library provide the best service to the residents of Haddon Heights.
