Scare up the outside of your house and yard with t Scare up the outside of your house and yard with things that go bump in the night! Free registration is available by emailing your name, address and contact information to chris@haddonheightslibrary.com. Only houses registered by October 17 will be included. Judging will take place from October 18 - October 31. Residents are welcome to vote on the library website beginning on October 18th. Winners will be announced on November 1. There are three categories: Scariest, Most Creative and Judge's Favorite. The winners will get their name on a plaque in the library as well as gift certificates to local merchants. All decorations should be visible from the sidewalk or street. The contest is not designed for people to come into your yard or house. Call the library at 856-547-7132 if you have any questions

Our Friends of the Library Committee is gearing up Our Friends of the Library Committee is gearing up for their two big Fall fundraisers to benefit library programming. We are currently collecting gently used/unwanted ladies accessories for our Accessory Sale. Have unwanted hats, belts, jewelry or handbags you'd like to purge? We'd love to have them for our sale. And beginning October 11th, we'll be collecting unwanted books for our book sale. All books are wanted EXCEPT FOR TEXTBOOKS, MANUALS & ENCYCLOPEDIAS. Donations of gently used books will be accepted from October 11th until October 23rd. So, purge those shelves and closets and don't throw those treasures out, throw them our way!
